I have a friend at school, Sheila... well last term she decided she was going to go for her level 3 teacher status. The thing is most people take a long time to get these submissions ready... not Sheila, as her husband was going to be away for 5 weeks (nothing unusual) she thought that would be a great time for her to focus on the level 3. So away she went... all done in 5 weeks!
Well... yesterday she received notification in the mail that she has passed stage one! (Stage two is an oral presentation.) Sheila was so excited, you 'd have thought she had won the lottery. I was very pleased for her... I knew she would pass, but just the same it is wonderful news. So...
it was drinks and nibbles at Michelle's house. Champagne and flowers with dip and bikkies! A great night of celebration to a wonderful teacher who works hard.
