Not much happens here

I have been having a hard time thinking of things to write about...
Now let me see what I have been up to...

• picked up husband from the airport the other day...he is home for a week.
• have volunteered to make a birthday cake for my neighbours daughter who will be 18 years old this weekend. There is a big party planned. So have managed to hire a large round cake tin to make a huge chocolate mud cake. That was my mission today, so far so good, it is still in the oven. My next post should include a pic of the finished product.
• had coffee with my Mother in law, this a regular event, generally once a week. She is off to Kununurra next week so our coffee date comes to a stand still. At the moment she says she is going for 3 weeks...but she has been known to change her ideas.
• it is freezing cold here... and has been raining so much that everything is soggy. There has also been lots of wind too...hate the wind.

Yesterday after the rain, there was this most brilliant rainbow across the sky. I tried to take a photo of it, but it failed...sorry folks.

Tonight husband is cooking...I requested a night off! We are having roast pork... he his cooking it in the weber coz the oven is still occupied with a kick arse sized mud cake!!

Cheerio...off to pour a champers with a flower.
